How much does an adjustment cost?

Our basic adjustment rate ranges from $40-$50 depending on what areas need to be treated. You may pay for care by the visit at our offices.  We are here to serve you and meet your current needs. We are also happy to create a care plan for you that can significantly reduce your cost of care well below our standard rate. For more serious or chronic issues we will create a specialized care plan recommendation for you.  That can range from a week to a few months depending on your case.  We have helped thousands of people here in the Hot Springs area, and we would love the opportunity to see if we can help you.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we are in network with several insurance companies, as well as Medicare. Insurance can be confusing, and we will be happy to call your insurance company for you to find out exactly what your insurance benefits are. From there, we sit down with you and carefully explain them to you in detail.

How long does the first visit take?

An evaluation in our office takes 15-20 minutes. Typically filling out new Practice Member paperwork adds the most time to your initial visit. Please download or print your new Practice Member paperwork from our website to expedite your visit. We pride ourselves on being an extremely punctual office so please arrive to your appointment 10 minutes early…I promise you this is not your typical doctors office experience!

What adjusting technique do you use?

Dr Huneycutt uses a variety of techniques, and these can be tailored to the patient's preference. Just as lasers have replaced scalpels in some surgeries, advanced technology has become available to chiropractors to assist in delivering chiropractic adjustments. The IQ Impulse adjusting instrument is a patented and FDA registered device that was developed to provide gentle and precise computer aided chiropractic adjustments to relieve pain and restore function. For those who prefer a more hands on approach, Dr. Huneycutt also uses the traditional manual techniques.

Will you adjust me on my first visit?

Yes, but only after a thorough evaluation. Your health is our main priority. We would never risk your health without thoroughly evaluating the results from your first visit in our office. Your first visit you will meet with the Doctor to consult about your situation, perform any necessary examinations, neurological studies, and X-ray’s. And then Dr. Huneycutt will review the results of your evaluation, and answer any new questions you may have, and if we find we can help, Dr. Huneycutt will then give you your first adjustment.

Is Chiropractic dangerous?

Chiropractic care is very safe and effective. When assessing the safety of a given treatment or profession, one need only to look at the malpractice premiums for the respective profession. Chiropractors' annual premiums are minuscule compared the medical profession. Why? because the risk of any adverse affect or injury from a Chiropractor is far less than taking medication or having a medical procedure done.

Once you start going to a Chiropractor, do you have to go forever?

No, there is no lifetime contract. Once you go to the dentist, do you have to go forever? Of course not, but you choose to go because you value the health of your teeth. Right? The same is true for those who value the health of their spine and nervous system. They choose to see a Chiropractor regularly, because they know how much better they function as a result.

I don't like getting my neck "popped", is there anything you can do for me?

We utilize drop tables and adjusting instruments that are gentle and effective – no popping necessary!

Chiropractors are Quacks! It doesn't work...

Unfortunately, some Chiropractors are quacks. The same can be said about medical doctors, neurosurgeons, and dentists. If you went to a dentist and had a bad experience, you would simply find another dentist. If you have had a bad experience with a Chiropractor, I urge you to find a better one. The difference it will make in your life is immeasurable!
